Corund ceramic cups
Made by the Varga family in Corund Village, Harghita County. Corund pottery is one of the most popular ceramics in Romania.
The clay is extracted from the Săcădat brook, which runs on the western side of the village. It is ground or kneaded to prevent impurities, until the clay becomes a smooth paste; then it is cut into strips and molded on the potter's wheel. Once molded, the pots are left to dry. Afterwards, the clay pots are immersed in kaolin to obtain the white color, and once again they are dried. Later on, the black ornaments are applied by hand, using a cow horn bugle that has a goose feather on the top, through which the color is dripping. The pots are once again dried and the color painting follows: red made of clay rich in iron oxide, brown and black made of a special clay found after rain, green made of the scum produced by the copper wire burnt in the oven, yellow obtained from...

The pots are once again dried and the color painting follows: red made of clay rich in iron oxide, brown and black made of a special clay found after rain, green made of the scum produced by the copper wire burnt in the oven, yellow obtained from Medgidia clay, and blue - cobalt. Subsequently, the pots are burnt in the oven at over 900 degrees. After the first burning, the pots are glazed, and after the second burning the colors become vivid. Natural color pottery is burnt only once, and the other two times. Burning takes 8 hours, and cooling 18 hours. Ornamental patterns are stylish floral and zoomorphic. The most common motifs are the tulip, the blackcock and the edelweiss.

Mint honey
Produced by "Colonia" from Curtea de Argeș, Argeș County. "Colonia" consists of a team of professional beekeepers, with rich experience in multiple beekeeping techniques, which is in partnership with the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest. Mint honey is "raw honey" or "live honey", which means that it is extracted cold and is in its natural state, without being heated. It is a natural, pure honey, not thermally processed, thus keeping its enzymes and vitamins intact and alive, which gives it nutritional qualities and exceptional benefits. Rich in nutrients and enzymes, mint is an excellent source of manganese, iron, copper, magnesium, potassium and calcium, vitamin C and vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin B2 and Omega 3 fatty acids, volatile oils, polyphenols, tannins, flavonoids and bitter principles. Mint is one of the plants with the highest level of antioxidants and has many beneficial effects due to the large amount of volatile oils, flavonoids and polyphenols, tannins and bitter principles.
